Paraíso Okavango

El río Okavango es un largo río africano que nace en la meseta de Bié (Angola) y penetra en una cuenca endorreica donde ha formado una extensa región inundada (Botsuana) y conocida como el delta del Okavango. Al desembocar en una zona con un clima muy árido, se trata de un río alóctono.

El delta del Okavango es un delta poco usual, ya que el río no desemboca en el mar. El río, al llegar a la cuenca, es absorbido por el desierto de Kalahari y se desconoce donde termina.

En el delta del Okavango existe la única población de leones nadadores. Entran en el agua para cazar antílopes ("impalas"), ya que durante las crecidas la mayor parte es agua.

Es fácil encontrar elefantes en las orillas, donde la vegetación es más abundante. No tienen problemas para desplazarse por un sistema acuático de poca profundidad como es el delta.

El leopardo es un cazador solitario muy difícil de observar; caza de noche y duerme escondido durante el día en las ramas de los árboles o en el espeso follaje ocultado completamente.

Los rinocerontes, los búfalos negros, los guepardos, la avutarda kori, el búho pescador común, el cálao terrícola y la águila marcial son algunos de los animales que también podemos encontrar aquí.

Se organizan safaris por el delta donde te enseñan las maravillas de este río.

Okavango´s paradise

The Okavango River is a long river which originates in the African plateau Bie (Angola) and enters a closed basin where it has formed a large flooded region (Botswana) and known as the Okavango Delta. As it leads to an area with a very arid climate, it is an allochthonous river.

The Okavango Delta is unusual, since the river does not flow into the sea. The river to reach the basin, is absorbed by the Kalahari Desert and is unknown where it ends.

In the Okavango Delta exists the only population of swimmers lions. They enter the water to hunt antelope ("impala"), because the most part is water.

It's easy to find elephants on the shore, where the vegetation is more abundant. They have no problems navigating through a shallow water system such as the delta.

The leopard is a solitary hunter very difficult to observe; hunts at night and sleeps during the day hidden in the branches of trees or in thick foliage being completely hidden.








The rhinos, black buffalo, cheetahs, the kori bustard, the pel's fishing owl, southern ground hornbill and the martial eagle are some of the animals that can be found here.

Nada se consigue, si no se intenta

"El porqué de las cosas" es una película española dirigida por Ventura Pons en el año 1995. Consta de 15 fragmentos, pero hoy solo vamos a hablar de el primer fragmento: Prólogo: Voluntad

Esta pequeña historia trata de un hombre que quiere enseñar a una piedra a hablar. Actúa como si fuera un padre que intenta enseñar a su hijo pequeño, en este caso la roca, a hablar. Intenta que diga la sílaba PA, ya que es una sílaba fácil para los niños.

Suena a locura que un hombre quiera enseñar a una roca a hablar cuando todos sabemos que eso es imposible.

Pues este hombre aunque es consciente de que la roca no puede hablar, está convencido de que solo se trata de que la roca tenga la voluntad de conseguirlo.

Hay una frase en la que está convencido de que la piedra puede hablar:

"Sé que es difícil para ti porque quizás nadie te ha pedido nunca que le hables, y estas cosas cuestan en un principio si no se está acostumbrado."

Después de tanto insistir, el hombre al ver que la piedra le hace caso omiso, se cansa de insistir y se deshace de ella arrojándola lejos de su casa, donde aterriza en las calles de Barcelona y de la fuerza con la que cae al suelo, emite el sonido PA.

Al final la piedra consigue hablar, pero este hombre nunca lo sabrá.

Conclusión: Nada se consigue si no nos empeñamos en ello.

El protagonista de este relato, es un ejemplo de hasta dónde puede llegar en sus propósitos el hombre voluntarioso. Este hombre intenta comunicarse con el reino mineral, y a pesar de ser un reto difícil, obtuvo ciertos resultados.

Nothing is achieved, if you don't attempt to do it

"The why of things" is a Spanish film directed by Ventura Pons in 1995. It consists of 15 pieces, but today we are going to discuss only the first fragment: Prologue: Will

This little story is about a man who wants to teach a stone to speak. He acts like a father trying to teach his young son, in this case the rock, to talk. He tries to make the stone say the PA syllable, as it is an easy syllable for children.

It sounds crazy that a man wants to teach a stone to talk when we all know that's impossible.

Although, this man is aware that the rock can't speak, he is convinced that the stone only need the will to do.

There is a phrase in which he is convinced that the stone can speak:

"I know it's hard for you because maybe no one has ever asked you to speak, and these things cost at first if you are not used to."

After much insistence, the man saw that the stone makes it ignore, he gets tired of  insisting and he throw the stone away from home, where it lands on the streets of Barcelona and the force with it dropped, sounded like PA.

At the end the stone gets to talk, but this man will never know it.

Conclusion: Nothing is accomplished if we do not try it. 

The protagonist of this story is an example of how far willful man can achieve his purpose. This man tries to communicate with the mineral kingdom, despite being a difficult challenge, he obtained certain results.

Cumpliendo un sueño

Os voy a hablar un poco sobre música. Es uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos. La música despeja mi mente y me relaja. Me gusta escuchar música para aislarme del mundo y olvidar mis problemas. Escucho todo tipo de música pero sobre todo, música pop.

Escoger una sola canción como favorita es difícil. Hay muchas canciones de varios artistas que me gustan, pero si debo elegir una sería Don't forget where you belong de One Direction.

Esta canción es única para mí. Cuenta que, por mucho que estés fuera de casa, siempre recordarás de dónde eres, al igual que, por mucho éxito que tengas en tu vida, siempre serás tu mismo y no cambiarás.
Realmente es preciosa.


El verso más significativo de la canción, además del título, es éste:

"Don't matter how far I've gone

I'm always feeling like home"

"No importa lo lejos que esté, siempre me sentiré como en casa"

Yo creo que el verso lo dice todo por sí solo.

One Direction (abreviado como 1D) es una boy band británica-irlandesa formada el 23 de Julio de 2010 en Londres, Reino Unido, en el programa The X Factor. La banda formada por Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan y Louis Tomlinson, se presentaron a las audiciones como solistas pero fueron expulsados de la competencia. Tras esto, Nicole Scherzinger y Simon Cowel, dos de los jueces, decidieron juntar a los 5 en un grupo, al que finalmente llamaron One Direction. Durante el concurso el grupo fue apadrinado por Simon Cowel. Finalmente quedaron en tercer lugar, pero Simon pagó un contrato discográfico con Sony Music para que pudiesen lanzar un disco.

One Direction es la banda más famosa del momento. Se han convertido en el fenómeno mundial más grande de los tiempos. El 25 de Diciembre sacaron su tercer disco Midnight Memories (al que pertenece la canción).

En su carrera, el momento más grande de esta banda fue cuando actuaron en el Madison Square Garden (el estadio más grande del mundo) en Nueva York, Estados Unidos, donde agotaron todas las entradas en un par de horas.

Dreams come true

I'm going to talk about music. Listening to music is one of my favourites hobbies. Music clears my mind and it makes me feel relaxed. I like listening to music to isolate myself from the world and forget all my problems. I listen all types of music but, above all, pop-music.

Choose only one song as a favourite is difficult. There are many songs of several artists that I like, but if I have to choose one, it will be Don't forget where you belong by One Direction.

This song is unique for me. It says that no matter how long you are away from home, you will always remember where you belong, like, no matter how succesful you are in your life, you will always be yourself and you won't change. It is really beautiful.


The most significant verse of the song, besides the title, is this:

"Don't matter how far I've gone

I'm always feeling like home"

I think the verse says it all alone.

One Direction (1D abbreviated) is a British-Irish boy band formed on July 23, 2010 in London, UK, on The X Factor. The band consists of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were presented solo auditions but were expelled from the competition. After that, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell, two judges decided to put these 5 guys in a group, which finally called One Direction. During the competition the group was mentored by Simon Cowell. Finally they came in third, but Simon paid a record deal with Sony Music to release an album.

One Direction is the most famous band of the moment. They have become the largest global phenomenon of the time. On December 25 they released their third album Midnight Memories (to which the song belongs).

In its career, the greatest moment of this band was when they performed at Madison Square Garden (the world's largest stadium) in New York, United States, where all tickets sold out in a couple of hours.
